We provide compassionate care to each child.
What sets us apart
Training
Our dentists are board-certified specialists in Pediatric Dentistry, requiring extensive training beyond dental school to provide comprehensive preventative & therapeutic oral health care for infants, children and adolescents.
Patience
At PDA, we understand that some kids need a little more time to be themselves. We want to take the time to walk parents through their child’s dental needs, while providing a fun, friendly, and feel-good environment!
Care
No matter the age or needs of your child, we want to take care of every child as if they were our own. We want to ensure that your child leaves not only with the best care possible, but with a smile!
Our Services
-
First tooth? First visit! Let us show you the first steps to a healthy smile.
Whether your family is expecting or your child has just had their first tooth come in, our goal is to help you and your child establish good dental habits to reduce the risk of cavities early on. The Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children have their first dental visit by their first birthday.
-
“An apple a day…”
Prevention can be easy and fun! Regular check-ups, cleanings, x-rays, and topical fluoride will help establish healthy habits to prevent cavities. We will recommend sealants when appropriate, and if your child’s bite needs it, we will connect you with an orthodontist. -
Sometimes teeth need a little more help…
Despite our best efforts, sometimes teeth need a bit of a fix-up. We are here to guide you through the options of white fillings (composites), crowns, baby “root canals” (pulpotomies), and sometimes offerings to the Tooth Fairy... We will recommend to you and your child, the most personalized way to ensure safe and comfortable treatment - always.
-
For the slightly anxious child…
If your child needs a helping hand through dental treatment, laughing gas (nitrous oxide), with or without mild oral sedation, can be a benefit. Conscious sedation is performed in-office and your child remains awake throughout. This option is only offered to those who we deem suitable to ensure the procedure is appropriately comfortable, safe, and successful.
-
For children who need a lot more…
At PDA, we have one simple goal - to provide exceptional dental care to children in the most positive manner possible. General anesthesia (GA) is offered to children who are very young, anxious, need a lot of dental work, or are medically compromised. GA is done in the hospital with an anesthesiologist to ensure that your child is safe, no matter what.
-
Every child is unique, so is our care for medically compromised children.
We are specially qualified and hospital-trained to take care of children with special needs. We want to ensure that your child receives compassionate care, and we aim to accommodate their unique needs from the moment they enter our office.

No one plans for the unexpected!
Dental trauma and infections are serious - we are here to help when you need us most. If your child is having a dental emergency, please call one of our offices.
